The new regulation on the training and examination of operators of machinery used in road traffic has arrived.
Fortunately, previously acquired qualifications and certifications remain valid and unaffected by the legislative changes.
However, significant changes have been made regarding the acceptance of qualifications obtained by foreign workers. The Information and Technology Ministry will determine, through a decree, the exemptions from theoretical and practical examinations based on foreign qualifications, as well as the compatibility of the foreign qualifications with the purpose and mode of operation of the machinery and the defining characteristics of the machine’s structure.
